COMMONLIT
CommonLit is a US non-profit that helps middle and high-school students gain the reading, writing, speaking and critical thinking skills they need to succeed in college and beyond. With a focus on addressing the literacy gap in under-resourced schools, CommonLit runs an online platform of high-quality reading and writing lessons and literary resources. We’re supporting CommonLit’s goal to help 1.8 million students become proficient in reading and writing by the end of 2026.

ACTION
CommonLit provides teachers and schools with the instructional materials and support they need to accelerate reading growth for their students. What started out as a free digital library of lessons for teachers has now expanded its offerings to include assessments, professional development for teachers, and a full-year English Language Arts curriculum for 6th-12th grade students.
All CommonLit materials are created to support teachers in keeping instruction joyful and sustainable, with the goal of helping them deliver rigorous, engaging, and impactful learning experiences every day.
